“Alien contact. Liked the book quite a lot more than the movie (though the movie is great too).
“I felt the movie is a little better and more entertaining than the book except for the two most scientifically interesting parts: the part where they first receive the signal, and Especially the part where they meet the aliens. In these parts, the book offers a much more thorough and interesting treatment of the events that unfold. Carl Sagan was also generally awesome and knowledgeable, which definitely shines through in this book. 4/5
